We are extremely happy to announce that we have successfully launched the production model of our healthy hot food vending solution at Moto Cherwell Valley Services. Located 15 minutes from Bicester Town Centre, at Junction 10 on the M40, our Noodle Bar allows visitors to purchase a cup of premium Mr Lee’s Noodles, Porridge or Congee, which they can prepare on the spot using an all-in-one machine designed and manufactured in conjuction with engineering firm RBC Group.
Mr Lee’s Kiosks offer a diverse range of hot and healthy on-the-go foods around the clock, satisfying consumers’ need at any time of the day from breakfast through to dinner as well as morning and afternoon snacks. The innovative machine includes 6 instant rice noodles, 3 breakfast porridges and 2 varieties of scrummy congees, a traditional Asian savoury rice porridge, all made with the finest ingredients and absolutely no artificial ingredients. The products are certified low in sugar, gluten free and with vegan options available.
Customers can choose to take the product away in a dry format for later preparation or add hot water to enjoy their food immediately. The kiosks also offer the possibility of adding a splash of soy sauce or chilli oil to noodles and congee and forks and spoons are offered.
We plan to expand our product range later in the year, adding a wider variety of foods to our kiosks as well as offering drink options.
The launch of the machine aims to continue our late founder, Damien Lee’s, mission to provide a healthy, preservative-free alternative to traditional instant foods. Martin Verspeak, COO at Mr Lee’s Pure Foods Kiosk Technologies comments: "At Mr Lee’s we want to encourage healthier consumption habits and our vending machine, packed full of hot instant foods with no artificial ingredients, allows us to make healthier choices available to everyone."
The unit is available 24/7 and comes with high-tech features such as a large interactive touchscreen, enabling users to access information about the products, immersive experiences and cashless payment systems.
This machine is the first of many to be launched throughout the UK in the coming months as part of Mr Lee’s Pure Foods partnership with technology experts RBC Group, in a bid to replace old kiosks with more user-friendly, sustainably manufactured and energy-efficient units. We hope this initiative facilitates access to affordable, healthy and ready-to-eat options in a range of locations that crave quick healthy hot food without the nasties!
